Our mission is to promote the prevention of Jewish genetic diseases by developing and improving the capacity of communities to provide access to preconception genetic education, counseling services and screening.

Einstein Victor Center for the Prevention of Jewish Genetic Diseases is a thought leader in the field of preconception Jewish genetic screening.  Science-based and mission-driven, the Victor Center leverages advances in genetic technology to identify carriers for severe and often fatal childhood diseases.  The aim of our advocacy and partnership efforts is to expand access to preconception genetic education and counseling services.

The Victor Center was created in partnership with Einstein Healthcare Network and Lois Victor who lost two daughters to a JGD. Mrs. Victor has made it her life’s work to help ensure that no other parent would have to endure this kind of heartache.

The Victor Center Philadelphia host monthly screenings at Moss Rehab and community screenings throughout the year.  Please check out our calendar for information.

If you would like to get involved in planning an awareness and screening program at your synagogue, college campus or community organization, please contact Joshua Stone at stonejos@einstein.edu.
