Congresswoman Deborah Wasserman Schultz Visits the Miami Victor Center

On Friday April 17, 2009, The Miami Victor Center for Jewish Genetic Diseases hosted the Honorable Congresswoman Deborah Wasserman Schultz at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
Dr. Jeffrey Vance, and Chairman of the Miller School of Medicine, made the welcoming remarks and introduction at the event. The Victor Center Miami's Medical Director, Dr. Deborah Barbouth, made a presentation about Jewish genetic diseases and the importance of screening. After Dr. Barbouth's and Dr. Vance's presentations, Congresswoman Deborah Wasserman Schultz addressed the group.
